Sharing songs that I have played on….Grateful for the artists entrusting me to play on or compose the string parts for their treasures.
Songs I’m On
A collaboration beyond my wildest imagination that arose near the beginning of my music journey, that could only have occurred through God’s hand. We hope this song points you to God and reminds you of His holiness, power and beauty. The mind-blowing aspect about God’s holiness is that we can and should go to Him with all things at all times, without shame, because of Jesus’s sacrifice. How beautiful is that?
Christian Hip-Hop/Rap song written by the epic anointed hip-hop/rapper Lathan Warlick and exquisite cinematic vocals by SVRCINA.
Violin track: StoryLight Strings
Producers: the720 - Blake Hubbard and Jarrod Ingram

Holy
One of my favorite songs that I’ve had the privilege of playing on with Eric Owyoung (artist behind Future of Forestry). I had the incredible opportunity of going to his studio to record this song! I especially loved how he gave me artistic freedom to create some of the textures and lines in this song. Some of the textures or sounds that you may hear include my violin mimicking the sound of sirens, trills, and my fingers sliding up and down my fingerboard. The final song is just so beautiful!!

Roman Candles
A song composed and produced by Eric Owyoung (artist behind Future of Forestry). Can someone pinch me? Grateful for the opportunity to create some violin for this beautifully soothing piece created by Eric!! This song makes me feel like I’m soaring through the sky…

I relocated my upright piano to my recording studio and have been thoroughly enjoying delving into the realm of felt piano recordings. Placing a strip of felt between the hammers and strings of the piano yields a distinct and incredibly intimate sound.
In this simple piano composition, my inspiration stemmed from sitting at the keys and cycling through various chords without adhering to a strict sense of time. The relaxed tempo imparts a feeling of timelessness. Midway through the piece, my friend and violinist, Yvonne (StoryLight Strings), joins the progression with some beautiful violin melodies.

Kings
A special gift that Eric Owyoung (Future of Forestry) dedicated to his father for his birthday and Father’s day, that I felt so incredibly honored and touched to play on. I loved all the complexity and moving parts behind the song.
Below are a few snippets from his post that can be found here on his website, describing his writing process and his relationship with his father: “My dad is a complex individual, and I wanted the music to reflect that. I started with his career. He was a..scientist. He earned a PhD in physicias and eventually wroked with lasers and semiconductors. His curiosity and exploration led him to some discoveries in his field. The chords and melodies I wrote were inspired by thoughts of him “tinkering” in the lab… “

A new day has come with the birth of Jesus! Our hope has come!! This song of worship was written by Lisa Rono for her church for the Christmas season!
God is inviting all of us to come regardless of who we are and where we are in life: all those who are broken, forgotten, alone, scorned, and lost. He is the father to the fatherless. We don’t need to come to Him only when we believe or feel that we are “good enough.” He wants us to go to Him as we are, broken and imperfect. This is why God sent us Jesus, the Savior, to give us new life. What good news!

Dawn of a New Day
A song composed and produced by Eric Owyoung (artist behind Future of Forestry). I am always musically stretched and learn oodles every time I get to create music with Eric (incredibly talented), so can you imagine how excited I was to be asked to play some VIOLA and violin on this piece! My heart is filled with gratitude to be a part of some of his musical creations!

Gold Ribbons
A song composed and produced by Eric Owyoung (artist behind Future of Forestry). I am honored to have a small part in this instrumental song, playing the violin near the end.
Taken from his website describing the song:
"The Curator," my latest musical creation, transcends being just a song; it's a journey into the world of an elderly museum curator. After the museum's doors close and the visitors depart, he remains amidst the historical artifacts he's dedicated his life to preserving. It's then that he embarks on a remarkable voyage of imagination, becoming an adventurer, a warrior, and a hero in his own fantasy realm.
The Curator
Heart-tugging song written by Lisa Rono in loving memory of her daughter Camilla, who sadly passed away in the third trimester of her triplet pregnancy. Our hearts and prayers are with anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth and beyond.
Produced by [Fe] with string work by StoryLight Strings (previously Strings of Light).
Proceeds for the first year will be donated to March of Dimes.
